At a public hearing on April 12th, the Estero Village Council approved an application for The Phoenix of Estero, an assisted living facility proposed near Corkscrew Road and Three Oaks Parkway. The proposed building is a 45-foot, three-story structure with a 56-foot architectural element.

The assisted living facility approved Wednesday will hold up to 140 assisted living and memory care units.

Construction is expected to begin later this year with a scheduled completion of late 2019.

The proposed building is located on about 7 acres near the Estero Medical Center east of Three Oaks Parkway and north of Corkscrew Road.
