The Naples-Immokalee-Marco Island area ranked No. 1 among 156 communities in the U.S. This represents the first time in 11 years that the same area has held the top spot four times in a row, according to Gallup.
Salinas, California, follows with the second highest well-being, followed by Boulder, Colorado; Santa Rosa, California; and Ann Arbor, Michigan, for the top five. Cape Coral-Fort Myers follows in sixth place.
The Gallup well-being survey focuses on the five elements of Career, Social well-being, Financial well-being, Community and Physical Health.
Naples was among the top metro areas across all five scoring categories except for career and physical well-being. The top spot for having a meaningful career goes to McAllen-Edinburg, Texas.
